Nat grew up in Virginia, the son of a builder and caterer. He spent summers in Woods Hole, dedicating most of his time to finding the best spots for catching striped bass.
He returned to the Falmouth area after college and used his entrepreneurial spirit to become a charter and commercial fisherman. Much to the stripers’ relief, he developed the skills he learned working with his father and local Cape Cod builders to establish a niche in the construction industry on the cape. He started as a laborer in the off season and over the next 15 years worked his way through the ranks, earning his Construction Supervisors License and striking out on his own in 2019. Nat has since developed Chalkley Construction, Inc., dedicated to working with local tradesmen and architects to build and refine Cape Cod homes for his clients.
